Many people want more out of life but they may struggle with turning to God to find it.  Their own experience with religion has left them feeling spiritually - and even sometimes discouraged.  For them, and maybe for you, religious experience has become something that has no impact or real meaning.

As a new church, we believe in getting back to simplicity and what matters most.  We do that by facilitating life-changing connections with God and love for others, while being diverse and culturally relevant.

Connect with God

When it comes to helping people grow spiritually, we create environments where you can explore God, faith and Christianity at a pace that fits you.  Learn about a connection with God through Jesus Christ that is available to everyone - including those who don't think of themselves as religious or even spiritual.

The Up Connections

We want to make it easy for guests and visitors to make a connection with God and others at Upcounty Church - if they want to.  We believe that it's helpful to create environments or places for people to interact with each other about spiritual issues and more.  That's why we created the Up Connections. 

The Sunday morning service at Rocky Hill School is a place for initial connections to happen.  It’s an environment for people from diverse backgrounds to experience God in worship and be encouraged through the teaching, reflection and application of the Bible to our daily lives.  It’s also a place for ministry to children and students. 

The UpClose Lunch happens once a month after the Sunday service at a local restaurant.  Newcomers are welcome to come and interact with other new people, ask questions about the church and discover more about the vision and mission of Upcounty Church. The UpStart Class is a place for people to discover some of the basic and deeper teachings of Jesus and the Bible, and explore partnership (or membership) with Upcounty Church. You'll get an overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.   We'll interact about how God wants everyone to experience the life that He created for them.  If you'd like to come to the next UpStart Class or find out more, please contact us.

UpLife is a suggested next spiritual and relational step for people who want to get more connected with others at Upcounty Church.  We offer a variety of connecting environments and places for you and your family through UpLife.  There's something for everyone.

~ Upcounty Life Clubs --- groups for networking and social connecting.

~ Dinner4Six Gatherings --- small informal groups that get together periodically on a Friday or Saturday night for dinner. 

~ Life Groups --- small groups of six or more people meeting in the upcounty area during the week.  There's more to church than Sunday.  We hope that everyone will join a small group going on in the community during the week.  Why do we encourage people to join a small group?  We believe that it's often difficult for people to connect with each other on a deeper level at a Sunday service. ~ Upcounty Community Bible Study Classes – these are classes designed to help people grow in biblical understanding and application.  There are many different classes offered at Upcounty Church.

~ Journey Groups – groups of two to three people who want to study the Bible together and discover how it applies to life today. These groups can happen anywhere and anytime.  It’s more of an interactive format centered around living out what the Bible says about becoming a more fully devoted follower of Christ.

~ Open2Talk Discussion Groups – a place for spiritual seekers to discover more about God, faith and Christianity in a safe, conversational environment.  Groups happen in the community.

~ TCU Leadership Training and Seminars – helping people explore what it means to be a leader of groups or ministries at TCU.

UpLift is a periodic informal gathering open to everyone for worship, sharing and lunch or dinner on a Sunday night or Sunday afternoon.  It's another way for people to meet others in a relaxed, casual setting.  UpLift usually takes place at a local community center. Up & Outreach are periodic church-wide outreach events that we do in the upcounty community.  We believe in demonstrating God's unchanging love to everyone.  Getting connected also means caring for people and reaching out to introduce people to the life that Jesus Christ has for them.  It also means caring for people in tangible ways.
